Lepeza
Lepeza invites the observer into a quiet dialogue between simplicity and symbolism, movement and stillness. At first glance, it reads as a minimalist wall piece — a fan form unfolding in pure white. Yet it is far more than it appears.
A Conceptual, Living Object
Lepeza is a conceptual project built around a sun-tracking system that gives the sculpture its defining purpose. From dusk through noon to dawn, the piece opens and closes in direct response to the current position of the sun, tracing the arc of daylight in slow, deliberate movement. It does not simply decorate a space; it marks time within it.
Texture & Material
Grounded in minimalist design principles, the sculpture emphasizes geometric simplicity, repetition, and raw materials. Smooth fan-shaped panels create a sense of order and calm, while the central panel deliberately breaks this uniformity — its rough, cracked surface evoking earth, bark, and dried soil, introducing imperfection into mechanical precision. Even silence, it suggests, must breathe.
Presence Without Imposition
Coated in white, Lepeza nearly merges with the walls of contemporary interiors. Its scale commands a space, yet its monochromatic restraint prevents it from overwhelming one. Wall-mounted and free of ornament, it asserts itself through presence and fluidity alone — freedom without chaos, luxury without kitsch.
A meditative icon that moves, but never rushes. A breath of calm in a loud world.
